incowrimo-2017 address book — now available

So it’s January 18th in most of the world, the start of this years event is just two weeks away and as we promised, our address book is now available. We know that many of you have started to think about who you plan to write and how to organize the month. And amazingly enough we have a couple of handy suggestions.

If your name is on the list, you might want to check that there aren’t any errors in numbers or spelling that might prevent your mail from arriving.

This year, in order to help ensure your letters travel as quickly and problem free as possible, we have formatted the addresses to meet current international standards for addressing letter-mail. We even looked up the standards for each particular country just to make sure.

You can always update your address at any time by filling in the form on the join in page with any new or corrected information and we’ll take care of it right away.

If you’ve just found out about this great event and haven’t yet added your name, it’s not too late. You still have until the end of February to fill in the simple form on the join in page for 2017. We’ll add your address as soon as it arrives.

You also might think about how far your letters are travelling to their destination. Some people have discovered that sending their international correspondence at the beginning of the month and more local mail towards the end works well. Looking over the list in advance can be of help. You can even download and print a very simple 2017 planning calendar  to keep track of letters in and out.

Maybe all those names are a little intimidating and making choices just isn’t your thing. Don’t worry, we even have a short list of people you can write . We’ve put together the addresses of 28 people, one for every day of the month, so that you don’t have to worry about being choosy and can spend that extra brainpower concentrating on content.

Remember, we want this to be a project that you do with a smile on your face.

A mighty thanks to every one of you reading this and those of you planning to write letters! Bravo and all the best.
